But why does the city need this — and what is the perspective in this?

The concept of river transport was developed by the Spatial Development Agency after a comprehensive analysis of urban mobility.

What problems can river transport solve?

– Congested roads — some passengers will be able to choose a convenient route by water

– Air pollution — fewer cars = cleaner environment

– Poor mobility in some areas — new water stops will improve accessibility

– There is not enough space — the river route will become not only convenient, but also a therapeutic experience

It works in the world. For example, in Amsterdam, water buses have long become part of the transport system: they reduce traffic jams, reduce the load on the metro, and at the same time create a new quality of urban life.

Vinnytsia is a city with a unique location. If we use the resources of our Southern Bug correctly, we will be able to open up new opportunities.
